Description

First in the Bone Records split series, featuring 11 melodic punk tunes that will be stuck in your head for a long time afterwards.

Notes

First in the Bone Records split series featuring 5 new songs by After the Fight, and 6 new tunes by Highball! ATF's 2nd release features a more varied approach to the songwriting without losing the raw attitude of their debut. This is also Highballs first official release, and its a good one, featuring 6 sub 3 minute songs that will be stuck in your head for a long time afterwards!

After the Fight is a punk/rock band based out of Elgin, IL. The band was formed in April 2004 and plays a brand of infectiously catchy, mid-nineties, Southern California melodic snotty rock/punk. With influences ranging from Bad Religion, Samiam, A.F.I, & MxPx to the newer wave of bands today such as Gaslight Anthem and The Loved Ones, the band is a steady presence in the Chicagoland music scene and have opened for national acts such as Murphy's Law, Local-H, The Lawerence Arms, Spitalfield and the Pink Lincolns.

HighBall is a power rock with punk influences band based out of Chicago. Formed in October 1999, the trio started out in the depths of a Chicago basement. HighBall quickly began creating original songs containing lyrics from everyday life, adventures, relationships and the daily nine to five grind. HighBall knew they had an edge to their music often being compared to sounds of Chicago legends Screeching Weasel. Soon after, HighBall began playing live shows with a short set of quick punchy songs. HighBall continues redefining rock music and has an onstage energy and presence that is matched only by their quick and punchy power chord sound - the style of music to which great rock legends owe their success.
