Rock bands have long been a dime a dozen, but bands that rock are not, at least not to these guys.
All the Way Rider is a rock band from Minneapolis, MN. You can decide for yourself if they are a part of the select few or the countless "dozens", but know that their goals are
simple. Write, record, and rock.
If you are looking for the standard song and dance about All the Way Rider being the next big thing or some other desperate plea for A&R attention, then you've come to the
wrong place. Accolades may or may not come, but the goals will remain. Write, record, and rock.
Formed by Bill Collins (guitar) and Jeremy Jessen (vocals, guitar) in early 2005, and finalized by Rocky de Vries (drums) and Scott Walters (bass) later that year, All the Way Rider's plan of attack was decided almost instantly. Egos are checked at the door, songwriting dictators are not welcome, and influences will come from four individuals' love of real, rock music. Drawing from Quicksand, Shiner, Hum and countless others, All The Way Rider is not interested in bending to "what's hot", so much as they'd like to write the type of music that they have always thought of as "hot". Write, record, and rock.
While the media monsters continue to churn out, chew up and regurgitate the same old, bland, boring, over-imaged, and over-produced "rock" music, All the Way Rider will continue to write, record and rock on their own terms and beg for nothing. Anybody is welcomed to check it out. You're not gonna need that eye-liner, though.
Their self-titled debut EP was released on Blue Worm Records in May 2006 and the first full-length, "Lahuna" will follow in January of 2007.
