Description
Rock that is to be played LOUD, as not only the ears appreciate the sound, but the body also. Three piece rock band led by the world issues and the path that people choose, to play a style that the mind can accept as a new refreshing rock and lyrical vibe
Notes
We come from different backgrounds brought together by love for Rock music and the different styles of many bands. From Sabbath to Zappa around to Red Hot Chili Peppers and back to Oingo Boingo. We play our music to treat the ear and mind to a fun sound along with lyrics that are to get a point across. We are spiritually led and bonded. We have been told we are the funnest band to work with and play for. Love and Truth is our path. God is our light and power.
The band V Child with Guitarist Ken Najbert, Drummer Dan (KretinRock) Smith, and Bassist Ron ( Ronnie V) Call had been together accomplishing many videos and songs but not an complete album yet. The felt that they were led to a more profound message and that was one about greed and Vanity. The biblical book of Ecclesiastes had this message within the 12 chapters. So V Child started writing music using these 12 chapters as the base of the 12 songs on this album. Each song representing a chapter. Ron (Unkle Zim) Henderson came into the band after four songs had been written and recorded to help the quest of getting this message and the next 8 chapters into the V Child style of Rock music.
Here is an excerpt from the web about Ecclesiastes:
'For months now we’ve been looking at one of the most interesting books ever written. I mentioned last week what Bono of U2 thinks of this book:
Ecclesiastes is one of my favorite books. It’s about a character who wants to find out why he’s alive, why he was created. He tries knowledge. He tries wealth. He tries experience. He tries everything.
He is not alone in his admiration for this book. Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick, called Ecclesiastes “the truest of all books.” Thomas Wolfe described it as “the highest flower of poetry, eloquence and truth” and “the greatest single piece of writing I have known.” If you’ve been here these past few months, I hope you’ve had glimpses of why this is such an important book.'
From V Child to our fans, followers, and new ears, listen, learn, and dance and love. We hope you will fall into this sound and the powerful message as we were during the many hours of writing, recording, and performing this album for you!
