Vann Burchfield’s latest release is just as the title implies. This sax player is full of soul and his newest tunes are expressive, emotional and moving. With a perfect blend of smooth jazz and classic soul, with a little touch of funk and R&B, this album will make you wish there were lyrics that you could sing along with. With just the right touch Vann combines simple, funky grooves with dancing pop melodies on tracks like ‘Let’s Get Started,’ then brings out the romance with tracks like ‘When I’m With You.’ Vann was recently featured in the Saxophone Journal, where his face can be seen on the front cover.
