Dig Deeper is Urban Soil's debut album. Recorded in the spring of 2014 at Bongo John Studio in Morrisville NC, a suburb of their home town of Raleigh, NC. The album features smooth vocals, warm and vintage yet at times ripping guitar tones, sophisticated violin, a super tight rhythm section and cameo performances from some of our favorite players.
Urban Soil is a collaborative creative effort, sprouting from the streets of downtown Raleigh. Fusing new sounds and old. Young artists and... not so young artists, combining to create something new, refreshing and awesome for your listening pleasure. Urban Soil is focused on creating the best possible original music. The combination of all out, electrified, jam band inspired musical explorations and the more Americana, acoustic flavors makes Urban Soil truly unique. Sarah's powerful voice is complex and thought provoking, while being strong and soulful at the same time. Eric and the rest of the band provide a tight, concise backdrop for her to fully explore the sonic space.
