Lukis, born Lucas Gordon, is an American Progressive House/Electro producer from Denver, CO. While known for his electronic production, Lukis’ musical career began in acoustic performance. Born into a musical family, he began playing drums at the age of 11, and would perform in multiple bands as a drummer before being drawn into the world of producing. He would later study music at the University of Colorado, picking up various instruments in the process. Lukis turned to producing in 2014, picking up influences from artists including Zedd, Tiesto, and Calvin Harris. Bringing his own brand of music to the mainstream, Lukis transcends conventional methods of electronic production, while staying true to the power, energy and love that the genre and its fans are well known for.
Aside from producing, Lukis is also known for his modeling work with Wilhelmina models. He has been featured in ads and commercials for notable brands including: L'Oreal, American Crew, Toyota, Motorola, PetCO, Topshop, Runway Magazine and is featured on the cover of the New York Times Best Seller’s List novel ‘Rowdy: A Marked Men Novel.’
