After leading the Murray Band to a nomination for Traditional Country artist of the year at the 2010 B.C. Country Music Awards, Trevor Murray decided to give his solo career a shot as the guys got busier and busier with their everyday lives.
Fresh back from a trip to Nashville, Trevor recorded this album with Dan Drilling from Panda Productions of Nashville. The first song from his trip was his first Christmas single "Greatest Present of All" which went 5 for 5 to win the JRFM New Country Challenge and was getting steady radio play across Canada. With some momentum on his side, and a great collection of new original material on "Leave it Up to Me, Trevor Murray hopes that people will want to hear his brand of traditional country music for years to come.
