My mother used to play drums but quit after high school. Wanting to please her I told her I would play drums and never quit. I used to practice for hours and listen heavily to drummers I admired and music melodies that could send you to another place.
Going on tours and playing with so many groups was quite an experience but writing songs is what I always wanted to do. So, this is my first album which goes in different directions from dreams and love to annoyances and current political situations.
My music thoughts probably come from the roots of playing in band and orchestra in high school and college. I loved writing song lyrics and began playing keyboards so I could write melodies. I have always loved good melody lines and ones that change so you don't get bored. I am blessed to be doing something I truly love. I am often asked who I sound like and fans I have spoken with always say I don't sound like anyone. So, I've been told I have my own sound. That makes me happy, and I hope my music makes you happy too.
