Notes
A PERFECT BOY, an experimental film by artist Amy Tam, and featuring Biddy Connor on voice and viola. It interweaves a twisted surrealist fairy-tale and real to life suburban mystery of mistaken identity. Hidden within non-narrative rhythms of opulent secrecy & sonic textual myths; two worlds of darkness and light, illuminate a truth lost within a seductive cinematic fire of breathing lies, formed with sound and vision.
TRAPTURE, a semi improvised live performance piece by Sands Through The Hourglass and directed by Shannon Murphy, featured Basil Hogios performing the emmersive,blistering and sometimes comic score live.. and every show was different. A visual and visceral onslaught of bodily-fluids explode in a canon of monsters and creatures. Bleeding notions of Theatre into Performance Art, Sands explore the beautiful horror that is the days of our lives. This soundtrack is re-mixed and mastered from one of those performances,
