“Arnie and Kathy sound like they have been singing their whole lives...and they pretty much have. This is a wonderful and tasteful collection of songs and old time harmony duets.” David Holt
" “Down Harmony Road” is old time music at it’s finest. Kathy and Arnie make old songs new while demonstrating their love and virtuosity of playing and singing styles along with good taste and accessible arrangements. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather listen to." Cathy Fink
" .. they certainly chose some great sources to learn from. And it doesn't just have some good singing-almost every song is a gem ......
Even if you think you know all of these songs and would probably prefer the original recordings to any possible modern cover you ought to buy this CD." Pete Peterson The Old Time Herald
Arnie Naiman is known for his clawhammer banjo playing and has recorded with Canadian old time musicians Chris Coole, The Banjo Special, and Erynn Marshall and recently on Old Time Banjo Festival- Rounder Records.
As a duo they have been involved with Toronto's folk music scene for over 30 years performing in various clubs, camps and festivals.
Kathy Reid-Naiman is well known throughout North America for her many award winning Children’s Music recordings produced by Ken Whiteley.
