Visceral, moody. Hard rock, pop rock, emo, punk.

Babelshack is a rich pool of performers and songwriters, all of whom have worked in some capacity with founder and singer/songwriter, Barnaby Hazen. Album credits include the EP of 2005, and "Return of the Bottom Feeder" in 2006. "Bottom Feeder" was written and recorded by the College of Santa Fe lineup: Hazen, Westin McDowell (guitar keys), Dylan McDowell (drums), and David Hixon (bass). Other players have been involved either in the creation of the EP, or performances throughout the years, including Peter Blackman, Brendan Carn, Michael Carney, Mark Clark, Kevin Collins, AG Kirby, Nick Petree, Joe Sanchez, and more.

Performance credits include tours of Colorado (e.g. Pinky's in Denver and The Foundry in Boulder), Texas (e.g. Ego's in Austin), Arizona (Casa Blanca Nightclub in Phoenix -- KUDOS to this venue for taking care of out of town bands!), and New Mexico venues in Santa Fe and Albuquerque: Santa Fe Brewing, Warehouse 21, Club Alegria (RIP), Burt's Tiki Lounge, the Atomic Grille, and more. They enjoy college airplay and publicity such as interviews and features throughout these areas as well (e.g. KRZX in Austin, KUNM in Alb).

Babelshack is currently writing songs for coming recordings and tours. Please check back frequently for updates.
