Notes
This album is a collection of songs recorded in 2007 using software samplers and hardware synthesizers. Musically, much of the sound revolves around a theme of descending thirds which is apparent in tracks such as the Lover's Theme and Warm Soft Nights. Great care was taken to record the beautiful sounding orchestral instruments like the piano and cello. Many of the original sounds come from unique synthesizers such as the Korg Z1 (physical modeling synthesis) and vintage analog synthesizers like the Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 and the Yamaha CS-50.
