Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) spent the first part of his life dedicating himself to the practice of spirituality. Since moving to New York City in 1964, he has helped teach meditation to many students in the West. The numerous compositions that he has written have arisen out of his communion with his highest Self. These songs all have a devotional and spiritual theme.
