80s Baybez was recorded in 2009, after the albums 4 tha Streetz, Get a Bar Uh That!, and Gassin’. For this fourth studio album, the Professionals (aka tha Prafeshanals) added a new member Mac tha Kat (who is featured on almost every track. This music is inspired by late rapper Lord Sidney Kwame Addo a.k.a. “Shotime” and dedicated to late producer Mario Aquas a.k.a. “Skillz.”4 tha Streetz features: exclusive tracks produced by Sambo Sauce-a-Lini; engineering and recording by Brody at In Digital Studios in Santa Cruz, CA; and live mixing by DJ Sam Soul; and mastering by Audio Science Mastering. This album includes a range of guest appearances including the aforementioned Mac tha Kat, Boa, Cam-Lo, Cali-B, KCAZ, and AWOL.
