Derek Flager Jr. (born December 23rd 1988), better known by his mononym BLaCK! is an American Hip Hop artist. Born in Mt. Clemens Michigan. (Origin Kokomo Indiana) Wanting to pursue his love for music he begin rapping at the age 10 along with fellow classmates and family members. He would write and write until he couldn't write anymore. He went all through high school wanting to record and finally started to record his music in 2008 around town with friends who had the equipment and knew enough about the software to work with him. After just three tracks recording he knew that working around other peoples schedules wasn't fast enough for him. Determined to get his music heard he managed to earn enough money to buy all the software that was needed and taught himself to work the programs to sound professional while using the most basic equipment. In 2009, he wanted to expand and began a hip hop group named No Remorse and made his high school nickname BLaCK! his stage name. No Remorse had 3 members which were childhood friends with BLaCK! and since then members have come and gone. In 2012 after performing locally and surrounding areas for 3 years and not seeing any results he linked up with CEO of NuORDER ENT, kCAne MarkCO and joined his self founded label NuORDER ENTainmENT. No Remorse since then has changed their name to NoREMORSE CliQ and now consists of 5 members
