Description
Tears for fears meets Snow Patrol in this revivalist melting pot of toe-tapping, hook-charged eighties-britpop jams. You may discover the secret to love on a commuter ferry or how to exit a bad relationship without having to call the police...
Notes
There is life after the Eighties. On this 2012 debut, The Managua Line becomes a flaming Britpop-era revivalist, they have cranked up their guitars and given their keyboards a jittery New Wave makeover. The result is a buzzsaw-sharp pop-rock album, full of hard-charging hooks, with one foot toe-tapping in 1988 and the other planted firmly in 2012.
