Description
Shook Foil Projects takes its name from the Gerard Manley Hopkins poem, God’s Grandeur. “The world is charged with the grandeur of God. It will flame out, like shining from shook foil;” At Covenant Fellowship Church, in Glen Mills, PA, we have experienced the grandeur of God in many ways over the years, as the grace of Jesus pours out into our lives, and flames gloriously into the world, sins are forgiven, lives are changed, and songs are sung.
These songs were written and recorded over the last several years. The version of Samuel Medley’s hymn “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”, with the added chorus by Dave Fournier, is a song that our community has enjoyed singing during Easter (and other times). The other original songs reflect on the topics of setting our eyes on Christ, living life in His strength, being thankful to God and walking in the wonder of both His Saving Grace and His Common Grace.
