Notes
Plesiosaur~, aka Steven Elsey, works on experimental music incorporating instrumental post rock and metal styles with drones and noise. As a multi-instrumentalist, he has performed in a multitude of bands and projects since 1977, covering most musical flavours and has performed in Sweden, France, Germany and the UK as a member of the noise/drone outfit Tonesucker.
Falling is the second solo album from Plesiosaur~. With inspiration taken from local history, field recordings and various online sources, Falling explores the fact that humans cannot fly. We are always falling. Whether we are voluntarily jumping, descending accidentally or even travelling by plane, glider, or even balloon, wherever gravity applies its force we are actually falling.
Out of this idea come 5 tracks of drone, noise and soundscapes that develop into something structured akin to progressive metal.
