Description
This debut self titled EP was released in May of 2013. The demo marks the first public release by this Illinois/Michigan infused alternative rock band.
Notes
PJ's My Cousin Too is a Michigan/Illinois fusion of alternative rock formed by Michigan cousins Ryan Kramar and Jordan Jackson. The band added Brent Popejoy on bass and Mark Walus on drums to complete their funktropic (yes that's newly created) sound and are based out of Chicago, IL. The band's interests and influences reflect the diversity of the city they call home - just a good time and a good sound.
"Our goal is to connect with people through our music, but to do what feels right for us and stay true to that. We really don't want to be assigned a category or a genre, we just write songs that we'd like to listen to."
-Interview with PJ's My Cousin Too - The List Magazine
"The audience immediately felt that vibe as well as the dynamic power of Ryan's (PJ's front man on guitar) vocals full of falsettos and emotions pumped into the lyrics. Don't be fooled by the soft voice either (as heard in the new song Pearl [For PJ]), blogspot readers, this front man has a diverse vocal range in which he does get expressive on the mic."
