Description

Boo Radley's House is a genre-bending heavy rock band that infuses elements of heavy metal, progressive rock, and alternative music into its signature creep rock style.

Notes

From the visionary minds of the heavy prog-rock band Boo Radley's House comes their highly anticipated full-length debut effort.  After a run of very successful live performances, the four-piece group wanted to delve into deeper territory and write a concept album that they felt was compelling, entertaining and, most importantly… necessary. And so came the creation of their 2013 album "Eye to I".

Adding to their signature "creep rock" sound, the band focused on weaving an emotionally dynamic story that is certain to lull and yet violently awaken its listeners with marionette-like direction.  Assisting the band in this milestone was internationally-acclaimed doom-metal guru Billy Anderson (Sleep, Mr. Bungle, Eyehategod, High on Fire), who is credited with co-producing and co-engineering the release. Since the start of the decade, Boo Radley's House has been a dynamic, up-and-coming force in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, winning over fans and media with their unorthodox composition, unique sound, and fiery live performance.

The lineup consists of Bart Tramer (vocals/synth), Eddie Rogers (guitars), Keith Hammond (bass guitar/keyboards), and Cody Morrison (percussion).  Guitarist Eddie Rogers credits the originality of the music to the fact that "we are all allowed to come from our own individual influences and integrate ourselves into the greater story".  The band's signature sound stems from a variety of genres: from 90’s grunge to progressive rock to heavy metal, effortlessly melding all of these styles into their music.

Lead vocalist Bart Tramer describes the content of the album as "A man's journey through the most frightening place imaginable…his ego.  Each chapter is a manifestation of the things that we commonly bury and can only unlock through the strenuous process of introspection. In some ways each piece is very personal for me, but I truly believe that they affect all of us in some way."

From the haunting fury of "Chapter 2 - Maelstrom" to the jagged and mind melting "Chapter 4 - Machine Metastatic", the album is sure to bend the ears of the curious, while the beautiful and somber tale of lost love in "Chapter 3 - Bleeding the Echo" displays the band's emotional versatility and unapologetic deviance from the norm of today’s heavy rock.
