Description

With clever words and catchy hooks, Fort Worth Americana act Bomber Spur proudly releases their debut album.

Notes

Cutting across west Fort Worth, the Bomber Spur exists today as an abandoned railroad bed choked with weeds, littered with beer cans, discarded furniture, and the detritus of a disposable culture. Once feeding the bomber assembly plants of WWII with the materials of mass production and playing its icy part in the cold war, the name has a new meaning.

Formed in June of 2010, Bomber Spur has embarked upon a religiously attended Thursday "Band Night" in an old carriage house just off of Camp Bowie in west Fort Worth. Made up of old friends who for almost twenty years dragged out their instruments around camp fires and backyard sing-a-longs, Bomber Spur have finally put some of those songs into a recording.

With the production and engineering help of Fort Worth music icon, Johnny Reno and a few talented old and new friends, Bomber Spur has put together ten tracks of pure Americana music with a bit of style, genre bending, and lyrics that will make you think out loud. We sincerely hope that you’re entertained.
