A little about my music…
This is Bryan talking here. I don’t judge or have an axe to grind about anything, anywhere. I’m not limited to one thing or idea, and I look for paths and people that have heart, and I guess my first album is about that. It took me three years to make and in those three years my life changed dramatically. Making the album changed my life in part by the people I worked with and the experiences we had together and I think my music reflects just that. My fondest memory is working with Tommy Spurlock, who produced the album, and whose steel guitar pedigree and musicianship is matched by few. Being at his studio in Spicewood, Texas (just outside of Austin) was serene. I learned more from what Tommy didn’t say than what he did. One could tell that he had played and recorded with the best, and it is reflected in this album. I respect not only his talents, but who he is as a person. The experience over those three years was very cool to say the least. The album was mixed at Boiler Room Studios in Austin by David Dickinson. His camaraderie and experience helped complete this album. Our time in the studio was spent not only talking about the music, but real life issues as well. We shared some crazy stories and I appreciate those times. A cool side note…the album was mixed on the same board George Lucas used to mix The Empire Strikes Back!
A little about me…
I grew up in a panhandle town called Levelland, Texas, and ventured to California after high school in search of something. I made it back to Texas after 14 years in the Golden State and this is what I know. This is my one life and I have something that I would like to say. Seven of these songs are from me, and the other three are songs I believe in. I hope you enjoy it my friends. Let’s just get busy living. Cheers!
