Description
An experimental, electronic album that ends with three jazz/pop songs that don't stray to far from the tone of the rest of the album. These recordings are considered a soundtrack to imaginary films.
Notes
Some 40 years ago I began experimenting with sound. In those days our studio had only a four track tape recorder and a Mini Moog. As years went by the studio grew and so did my avenues for sonic creation.
The songs on this album are collected from works I recorded between 1992 and 2000 a time after which the studio where I grew as a composer closed. The music on this album represents a time of not only building a new place to compose and record on a small budget but also to be comfortable enough to do so. Out of this new ideas came from piecing together innovative ways to get the results that I wanted.
Most are sound-scapes and some are done in a more traditional manner. I like to think of this music as a soundtrack to imaginary films.
