Notes
Briana Lee has been a singer and performer all her life. At the age of 4 she began ballet and tap dancing classes and by the age of 10 was performing in school productions and in local talent competitions.
At 14, Briana picked up the guitar and started performing at country music clubs around Victoria/NSW. It was at that time that she wrote her very first song, a track called ‘Dust of grey’ which discusses the 9/11 attacks in the US.
She has performed all around Australia & parts of the United States. She’s also a Tamworth Camerata school graduate & has sang the national anthem at the Australia Motor-Cycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island
Her songwriting talents are exceptional & have been widely acknowledged. In 2007 she won the Telstra Road To Discovery Songwriters Award. Which gave her the opportunity to visit Nashville during CMA Festival week and write with some of America’s country music’s finest writers. She also performed at some of Nashville’s well know Honky-tonks & bars!
Throughout her career Briana has shared the stage with a number of big-time music acts including Troy Cassar-Daley, Emerson Drive, Catherine Britt, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, John Williamson, Jim Lauderdale, The McClymonts, Daryl Braithwaite & Ross Wilson.
Now at 25 years of age, Briana has just released her debut album ‘A part of you’. The title track of the album is a song she wrote for her dad who was tragically killed in a car accident March 2012. She wrote/co-wrote 13 of the 14 tracks & worked with some of Australia’s supreme songwriters (Drew McAlister/Michael Carr) & US hit maker Erin Enderlin.
