"Eclipse" attempts to convey the sense of mystery inspired by outer space (especially from the point of view of 19th-Century astronomers), as well as a sense of the vast distances and dimensions of celestial bodies.

C. G. (Christopher) Gross began working with electronic music in the late 1970s and has been creating an eclectic body of work ever since, ranging from electropop and semiclassical music to industrial noise and musique concrete.
