Notes
Cannons North explodes from the Northland of Minnesota and brings their own style of country rock. Cannons North has been blessed with a series of musicians and song writers capturing a large spectrum of country music styles. The band is back with a new line up and a more straight forward approach to their sound compared to Waylon Jennings meets Social Distortion. The new rhythm section consists of Joe Bjorke on bass but still looking for a permanent drummer. Bucky heads up the vocals/lead guitar and Justin Hennes on rhythm guitar. Cannons North released their debut album “Goodbye Dog” in the summer of 2012. “Carry Me Away” the bands sophomore release hits the streets May 2014 with a grittier and more straight forward sound. This 6 song E.P. packs a punch.
Cannons North has had the privilege of sharing the stage with such acts as Whitey Morgan & the 78’s, Jackson Taylor & the Sinners and Deadstring Brothers. Watch out because Cannons North may be firing their cannons to your town!
