High Desert Hymns is the fourth full length release from dark roots rockers Palodine. Their brand of haunting , gothic americana has been steadily gaining a following amongst european lovers of the genre. This record has a western flair in the album cover art and in the lyrical imagery expanding the pallet of their southern influences. The husband and wife duo have recently relocated to the middle of the american west and have been heavily influenced by their geographical surroundings. The Lyrics continue in the story telling narrative tradition with the old -timey feeling of a bygone era blended seamlessly with an updated approach to song writing.
