Description
PALACES' music is gritty, heavy, blitzkrieg fast, painfully slow, melodic, chaotic, and ultimately, one of the most rewarding experiences you will put your ears through this year.- JC BOOHER
Notes
PALACES formed in 2011 from the remnants of Atlanta underground metal bands past. Having acheived varying levels of success in their previous works, these long-time veterans of this city's metal underground are not interested in playing anything too easy to digest, no matter what "easy to digest" means to you. This was not formed in any particular mold, or maybe more accurately, is formed from the remnants of many molds that have been destroyed, melted down, and forged anew in the furnaces of shitty practice spaces. This is not simple pleasure, it is a challenge. PALACES' music is gritty, heavy, blitzkrieg fast, painfully slow, melodic, chaotic, and ultimately, one of the most rewarding experiences you will put your ears through this year. Listed influences range from Craw and Cop Shoot Cop to The Cure and Cat Stevens. This is music from a group of people who really only care that they love it. This is heart, honesty, anger, and an entire lifetime of love for this craft. -JC BOOHER
