Notes

This CD covers tracks recorded over seven decades. It features at times some of the finest studio players in LA, Nashville and Houston Tx. Their names might not be known to the general public but those familiar with the recording biz in those areas will know these names. The great Rockabilly guitar legend Joey Long(All that Glitters & Please Be Sincere), Award winning steel guitiar playerJay Dee Maness (Don't & Good Looking Blues Song) former Byrd member Herb Pederson rhytmn guitar & b.g.vocals (Don't & Good Looking Blues Song), the great lead guitar player barely out of hi school Greg Leitz (Don't & Good Looking Blues Song), Boy Howdy's Cary Park lead guitar on (Rocking Love & The Soldier) and all the way back to 1959 Kenny Rogers plays bass on (Please Be Sincere)
& All that Glitters). Buddy Hyatt and his Nashville players work in the classic "The Soldier." Please Be Sincere and Glitter were both recorded in 1959 when multi track recording was in its infancy. These tracks were all recorded at the time in the best available studios with the best players around. All of the songs were written by Chuck Cashmere with the exception of Please Be Sincere & All that Glitters which were written by the legendary Ray Doggett.
The one obvious is the consistent quality of the the songwriter singer. His voice remains pure and true thru out the tracks but obviously out of the commercial mainstream. This is another CD of quality studio imput from the independnet boutique music scene. It's musical, lyrical, and listenable without being over
produced or under served. If you like good voices, and good songs, you'll be more than comfortable here.
