Description

The music is evocative and should make you feel or think of something.

Notes

This music is intended for a good session on the couch. Here are some reviews:

The Black Hair-

cinnabar: I understand your music. It is beautifull.

Gary, it’s like you start with ?Anna Magdalena Bach- etudes?, then enter some synth color. Slowly evolving picking, nice progressions. Very nice flutish tones. Kind of Irish then. Very calm, very peaceful.

Pink Floyd would be proud! nice lovely tune with dark under tones... love it!

Something in this instrumental reached out and touched me fairly deep down. You can sense the heart in this unless you are totally jaded.
Great melodic progression, perfect arrangement, subtle elements of diversity. As usual you reach the highest level of musicianship.

Gary ... it is probably a measure of the quality of your work. Complex works sometimes can mask their fine points and faults because of all the elements in flux. A simple piece is open to intense observation ... that always reveals inherent beauty (if present) as The Black Hair did.

This is my kind of music when I'm busy relaxing. Wonderful sound from start to finish. Truly enjoyable.

Monkey Face-

Man this is great stuff! Thoughtful lyrics, Pro lead and harmony vocals. Fine orchestration, great picking. All it takes for a perfect song! This is outstanding! Andreas

Had to download! Fantastic in EVERY way!

Pure class. Fabulous vocals and harmonies. reminds me of Simon & Garfunkle. A stand-out.

Excellent vocals, melody, mix, everything! Absolutly great!

cinnabar - Monkey Face Beautifully and delicately progressive. Superb lyrics, gorgeous harmonies and all the little touches that make for a truly fabulous listening experience. Pure excellence.

cinnabar - Monkey Face – I love this theme that has been done before, but it does have a fresh twist with the image of the foolish, unenlightened monkey. But the best feature is the harmony and the progression of the chord structure. Something cinnabar is noted for and maybe one of the finest examples of their musical woven tapestry composition.

cinnabar - Monkey Face - Always good intrigue with a cinnabar song. This one is no exception. As always I love the chord changes and bold melody strides. Well done again.

cinnabar - Monkey Face At first I thought Gary (Judge) had written a song about me.. good ol monkey face.... it all came back.. the kids tossing banana's at me every morning before the man in the yellow hat would put me on the yellow bus... and then I would do the most curious things.. but I can't talk about that here.. but seriously.. this guy has as tight of harmony work here as anyone.. it is always impeccable and perfectly balanced even in in my mono world. Nice guitar work.. everything is crystal.. All the parts work so nicely together it seems as almost the song is one entity meshed with it's self rather than a bunch of components or instruments.. If that makes any sense.. and it should.. if it doesn't, just nod your head and say yes anyway. Class work from a class guy..

Visit with a Vision

Wow....brilliantly done!! Very original, and well produced! cheers, Brett

The creativity in this piece, not only compositionally but in terms of the production, made me think I was listening to something by Queen in their hey day. It’s very professional sounding and a really cool song to boot. In a strong field of good tracks this one seems to me to possibly deserve the adjective “great.”

the strangest thing I've heard in a while, a long while, It's very interesting indeed. mesmerizing, I love the guitar licks sort of in the middle, soon after the distorted solo part was sort of uninteresting to me, the operatic singing in the background is trippy as hell.

This song is a total head trip start to finish & the production is mind blowing. The song came at me from all angles and is unpredictable. Vocals on this tune rule. Incredible job.

Cinnabar – Really wild trip through the recesses of the mind, fully psychedelic. Well written song with a alluring melody. Ambient solo guitar part, love the backwards tracks!

Visit With a Vision - First off, you had me at "A song about waking up to the spirit of Puccinni" Can you imagine that? Can you imagine if you woke up and a transparent form of Puccinni began singing in that powerful voice. I mean, my God, the concept itself already makes the song fantastic. But then we go through brilliant changes with Operatic Puccinni style singing, a great guitar solo at the end, Pink Floydish vocals, it's long, but not a moment is wasted! I LOVE THIS SONG! If I could have made you something higher than number 1, I would have.

My Fallen Angle

Very well composed and performed. A tribute to the excellence that makes you a well-sold artist.

I think the only thing that may be holding this song back on the charts is genre selection. But as for the song itself, excellent work!

cinnabar - I have to admit in this minimalist piece of delicacy you've captured a very personal and painful experience down to the drawn out passage of time with those clock ticks. A musical picture that speaks in so many unheard words.
