Onelegchuck music is a melting pot of California styleeeeeeee and heart and soul!
Notes
in early 2000 my friends
take me to a strippers house,and jack my ride......
Then they drag my aching crabby ass.
to some downtown sacramento reggae show on k street.
sit me on a bus with this band i dont know then they need me to get dog food .
then i meet lou dog and find out this is sublime man,
bradleys hero's long beach dub allstars,when they asked me on stage.
to sit on there ice chest and pass out beer i could not believe it.
when they asked me to freestyle at that show.
i was so inspired im still busting out dub style-
reggae and my own brand of 6/8 rock.
also inspired by my favorite bands tool and a perfect circle deftones and chevell....
2002 olc moves to sonora joins the band mossytree with sammy gunn.
they start writing the foundation of the olc sounds.
singer song writer onelegchuck has been performing since the 90's
starting in his first band ruthies adict.
then moving on to leash.which was alternative rock to product
which was original metal
2001onelegchuck and west sac jack create a funk reggae fusion jam band playing the 916 joe's style shop fox and goose harverst partys freestyling for shakedown at the baordwalk in orangvale ca good times. remember the taco truck and ice cream truck at that party in the grape vinyards of LODI CA.....
.from 2004 olc started writing and
recording and playing acoustic guitar.
2006 he strapped a cd player to the seat in his white chevy
g20 van and set out accross the country.
selling cds to truckers and who ever would by one for gas and food.
making it to new york with 14 dollers.
Caroline the band was formed in 2012 .....
mr olc added old friend and bass player john price from the band quick 50, and tantra,
metal works and tribes of man.
and former drummer Sammy gun from
Element and FAT TAIL with the solid bass lines from JP
and the tool type dub style drumming of Sammy gun
and the solid vocals and melodies of Onelegchuck
we are a three piece band that bring a little something for everyone. onelegchuck the band is an awesome sight to see and hear.
2014/2015 onelegchuck currently has a three piece band dennis ronde on drumms and john priice on bass you can find onelegchuck out in san fran near peir 41 most nice days singing his heart out
