CYNTHIA LEE NEW CREATION BIO
"O Sing unto the Lord a new song" is something Cynthia Lee enjoys doing. Her love for God and Gospel music began some 22 years ago when she surrendered her life to him. Cynthia was born and raised in Jersey City, N.J. where she launched her musical career in the late 70s and early 80s when she was just a teenager. During those years she was the lead vocalist for the R &B group "Conquest". The group toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. And was signed to such labels as prelude and Epic records.
It didn't surprise many of her followers when the Lord saved her and she began singing Gospel music. In 1986 she left New Jersey and moved to Miami, Florida and began following God's divine plan for her life. She became a member of the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church in Miami, Florida. And is one of the lead vocalists in the choir where she serves under the leadership of her pastor Elder Kenneth A. Duke for the past 17 years.
She is the daughter of Deacon Woodrow and Evangelist Mildred Conner and has five siblings. Cynthia has been ministering with her God given talent for many years and is now making a mark with her greatly anticipated new CD release entitled "New Creation". Written by Cynthia, her mom Evangelist Mildred Conner, and Nathan Taylor who also produced the project. Whether you like urban, praise & worship, hip-hop, or traditional gospel you are sure to be blessed by this anointed woman of God.
Cynthia has made a guest appearance on TBN and has sung for the NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet in St. Mary's Georgia. She also sung at the Zora Neale Hurston Festival, not to mention many churches and Women's Conferences throughout South Florida. One thing is for certain Cynthia's "New Creation" will leave you feeling the presence of God from the very first song till the last, which is ministered by her mother Evangelist Mildred Conner.
Cynthia is often heard quoting one of her favorite scriptures "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me"… Philippians 4:13
