Not a crook is the brainchild of Icelandic musician Steinar Guðjónsson. Active in the Icelandic rock and jazz scene for over a decade now, most noticeably as the guitarist of the Icelandic rock band Coral, Steinar now makes his debut as a lead singer with this project.
The project initially started in Copenhagen so it takes different live forms depending on the geographical status of it’s conductor and band member availability. The music can be described as an eery, alternative rock fusion with an anti-fascist undertone.
