Description
Aussie pop/rock with a bit of bagpipes
Notes
Dalriada play their own exciting brand of Pop/Rock with a Celtic flavour featuring the Bagpipes. They are now regulars at many of Australia's major music festivals including multiple appearances at the Woodford Festival in Queensland and the Port Fairy Folk Festival. They have received rave reviews supporting English Folk Rock legends Steely Span and further critical acclaim supporting Irish Legends 'Four Men and a Dog'.
Their music is an exciting blend of traditional Celtic Material and thought provoking but musically exciting original songs.
Soak is their latest album and sees the songwriting process and production being a collaborative affair. Production duties being shared by John, Don and Pete with Don and Pete also engineering the album. Tunes and songs grew and evolved at recording sessions held in small town halls over 18 months. There is a real groove to this album and also some great slower stuff. Hope you enjoy.
