Description
This album is about the hardships of growing up, and is also about what is true of the experiences of growing up. It uses poppy hooks combined with punk lyrics and chord choice to get an overall sonic pleasure to the eardrums.
Notes
I wrote this album as a testament to all of what I felt about the process of growing up. Much of the album was actually written through different periods of my life beginning in middle school, and coming up to the current date. Each song is a different story whether it is about an event that shaped me or otherwise. Perhaps my most immature sounding song is the song Growing up, but, in fact, it really relates to everyone young and old. Nobody really likes getting older. There are many anthems and stories, so the listener can get a better connection to the artist and maybe even relate. I also make sure that all songs are what I feel, or felt at the time, to be the undeniable truth. I think that songs are better that way.
