crossing bridges is a collaborative project between derrick strickland and john bowles.having worked on other projects together,this is a refined effort to write songs that we feel comfortable enough to perform without the pressure of "hit"potential.this cd is the result of two friends work to make the best music we could in a pressureless enviroment.the musicians recruited on this project were brought in where conveinence allowed.thus keeping the"no pressure"theme intact.we chose the aspects of life that we thought were most important to write about,faith,truth,and resolve.released on our own label"rainwalkermusic",we hope others may share the same enthusiasm for this project that we have.
