An atmospheric ambient instrumental cinematic journey using a variety of instruments including symphonic and electronic elements.
Notes
Emphatic is a new long form ambient release. The entire album comprises close to 4 hours of music. This album is the brainchild of Brian Wright (composer) who designed the themes and pieces within. Many of these tracks have been previously played on Stillstream.com in their entirety.
The inspiration for each track came from the themes requested by Stillstream.com. So, in a way, these tracks were custom tailored for Stillstream.com listeners. Above that, though, each track has a feel of its own, yet comfortably sits within the entire release. If you enjoy electronic atmospheric releases combined with melody, you'll enjoy Emphatic. The longest tracks are close to 25-30 minutes. Together, the Elements make up the majority of Emphatic and comprise close to 3 hours of the run time.
If you would like to hear more of the tracks before purchase, a podcast of the At Water's Edge program is available. However, not all tracks on this release were played on the podcast as some where unavailable at the time.
