Recorded live at the Virtual Theater, Chicago, Illinois this album features some of the premier session and touring artists from the region. The musical style and artistic emotion promotes the thoughts of: "Change the Music, Change the Motive."
Notes
“Change the Music, Change the Motive” a theme that can change society. A movement that can inspire generations and communities to regain focus and come together once again in spirit and unity. A feeling, which has been lost to violence and greed, can once again become part of your life.
Cover songs included in this recording are reminiscent of what listeners came to love from the original artists, with some obvious respectful interpretations. The new, original songs feature the musical talents of the players and song writers; who have obvious roots in soul, and rhythm and blues.
This is a live production recording, and we are offering it only as a complete recording to maintain the integrity of the performance. The recordings were made from the heart of the players, and the strength of their soul in the performances, will be obvious to the listener.
The project was recorded by Charles H. Piper and Barry D. Rose at the “Virtual Theater” in Chicago, IL during the fall of 2010. The recordings were mixed and mastered at ouR House Studios in Lemont, IL by Barry D. Rose and Charles H. Piper.
A dream team of musicians have come together for this outstanding recording.
