Eons, the first full length album from the progressive metal band out of Minneapolis.
Notes
Neuralizer is a progressive metal band which has existed in the MN twin cities since 2010. With their debut EP, "Gnosis", they developed their individual sound. Through various line-up changes, however, they've reinvented that sound into something new. With their first upcoming full length record, "Eons", including their single, "Echoes of Existence," that sound will be unleashed.
Being a self-produced band by their drummer, Tyler Gottschalk, Neuralizer is granted extra leniency for creating music exactly how they want it and making it properly express their intent. With distinct bass riffs, fluid drum fills, intricate lyrics, searing guitar solos, and melodic as well as crushing vocals, Neuralizer manages to fluently incorporate softer, near ambient sounds into music normally known only for screams and blast beats.
With themes of extraterrestrial beings, apocalyptic circumstances, and personal triumphs, each song tells a new story yearning to be heard. Whether it be to open eyes or comfort those in need, Neuralizer plays music which can be related to any individual. Whether it be technical enthusiasts, breaking down each measure onto paper, or those who have goosebumps when hearing a particular line which affects them most.
The goal is not to impress or to conquer, but to be heard, make an impact, and make it last.
