Description
The fifth c.d. of all original hard driving blues-rock music from David Landon. “I Like It Too Much”- with special guest appearances by the bay area's best musicians as well as a full horn section playing through 11 exciting originals.
Notes
David Landon, a long time veteran of the Bay Area Blue’s scene, has released his long anticipated fifth c.d. of all original hard driving blues-rock music.
“I Like It Too Much” is a departure from his strictly 4-piece band format of his previous 2 releases in that Landon has now added a full horn section and several special guests musicians for an even bigger sound.
Mr. Landon is once again joined in the studio by his blues lover’s dream band featuring Steve Evans on bass (Ray Manzarek, Roy Rodgers), Randy Hayes on drums (Chris Cain, Coco Montoya) and Tony Stead on organ (Sly Stone, Tommy Castro). Special guests include Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Steve Willis (Elvin Bishop) and Alvon Johnson, as well as a 4-piece horn section made up of the bay area’s best players.
