Lush contemporary soul jazz
Notes
This album is a realisation of all my musical tastes combined to form a unique and original, contemporary soul/jazz album.
My songs are based on personal experience of love and loss. The music incorporates my vocals, sometimes layered and my trumpet solos and layered horn figures. Awesome funky guitar from James Muller, Groove electric bass by Matt Gruebner, Tight, sensitive but powerful drums by Nic Cecire and tasteful keys and programming from Gavin Ahearn. Gavin also produced the album and arranged the string quartet which weaves through the whole album.
