About Dan
A native of Georgia, Dan Random moved from Savannah to Atlanta to further his music career. To his credit, Dan is a musician, singer, composer, writer and producer, with eight CD’s under his belt with three Grammy nominations. Dan plays a number of instruments, but his 12 string is his favorite, accompanied by his completely unique lead vocals. In the last ten years, he has written and copyrighted over eighty musical compositions, along with publishing several literary works including poems, novels and screen plays.
Dan’s moniker evolved from his ability to compress several styles of music into a common thread that is unmistakably distinctive and entertaining. You never know what to expect from one song to the next, giving the music an element of surprise and anticipated novelty that has been lost in most of today’s predictable formats. His audience reflects the music, encompassing a wide sweeping appeal to a diverse crowd.
