Delano Grove is a rock and roll band, pure and simple. It may be a tired term, but once in a while bands come along that epitomize the beautifully dysfunctional tenets of this musical art form. Their melodically-driven, multi-instrumental, vocal-harmony infused music has the frenzy of a band nearly tearing itself apart with differing influences and creative rage, but brought together by a great sense of song form, soul baring lyrics, and a collective ear for a hook that makes you move. "Radiated" is Delano Grove's long awaited second release. The band has evolved, along with the changes in their line up since their first album, but the songs have been emboldened, enriched, and enraged with the drama and delights that such growth brings. Delano Grove has worked on this EP for nearly 2 years, spending many a sleepless night in Brooklyn, NY with producer Rob Carpenter. I know you will agree, as the meticulously crafted, hyper-melodic songs forever embed themselves in your brain, that it was well worth the wait. Delano Grove has also collaborated with the likes of Steven Colbert, Paul Dinello, and Matt Lappin for Comedy Central's “The Colbert Report” and the major motion picture "Strangers With Candy."
