Napkin is a mix of indie, alternative and piano rock with a bit of pop, that makes you wanna dance, and never leaving the old and good rock.
Notes
Napkin is a brazilian duo piano-rock formed by vocalist/guitarist Natana Alvarenga and pianist/vocalist Kimberly Neves in 2013 in Joinville, Santa Catarina. A mixture of piano rock, alternative and indie rock, with influences such as Keane, The Strokes, The Black Keys, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Arctic Monkeys and so on.
The purpose of the band is composing music mixing rock with classic and contemporary elements of piano, along with sound effects.
Natana Alvarenga releases the voice unceremoniously as an authentic rock'n'roll singer. Years of containment singing in pubs, with minimal volume, seem to have made her accumulate energy to spare for the drives and high notes , that easily come out when she is ahead of Napkin, wowing and impressing those who listen the songs of band.
Kimberly Neves, burn in Spain, brings her international experience. She studied erudite piano for 11 years, and currently shows her classical skills merged whit our alternative musics, thereby improving the sound of the band.
