Description

Third studio album from the band Mugga, a psychedelic experimental rock band from Madrid, Spain.

Notes

Mugga is a rock band founded in 2011 in Madrid that has released
three albums: Mugga EP (2011) Polar (2013) and Gamut (2014)
In late 2012 they made a crowdfunding campaign to finance their
second album. The aim was to raise 4000 Euros, and they got it in
the first 33 hours. In the end they raised almost the double. Both the
second and the third album have been recorded in Red Led, one of
the best studios in Spain. They have performed all over Spain and
the United States. Their music is listened in radios from Germany to
California.
Describing the style of Mugga is a headache even for its own
members, usually they babble and vomit when asked for it. This is
more an advantage than a problem because if anything
characterizes the group is the welter of influences and styles that
live in the minds of its members, each and every one of them hardcore
music lovers and musicians after.
Yes, there are grooves and funk slap bass emanating; yes, there
are delays and reverbs reminiscent of post-rock; yes, there are
eternal and instrumental sections reminiscent of psychedelic and
progressive rock of the 70s; yes there is percussion and Latin
rhythms radiating energy; yes, there are pedals, synths, effects,
loops and melodies that evoke experimental atonal music.
Mugga is the conjunction of all the above and nothing separately. All
played very hard and put in incredible scene. And jam. Mugga is a
group enjoying live improvisation and not follow the established
order.
