DEA is a "virtual band". In other words, all members of the band exist only inside the 1's and 0's of the digital world. The exception to this is the one "organic" member of DEA. That person is Sempai. The benefits of a virtual band are numerous: the band cannot "break up" leaving others in the lurch, no contract disputes, no overly fragile egos, and virtually no travel expenses.
Sempai is responsible for all the DEA tracks. Sempai is the producer, arranger, composer, and the one with the business degree. SonicShock Records was formed in 2003 for the sole purpose of licensing the music of the Dance Enforcement Authority. However, all the music is there for the enjoyment of anyone who needs a good Groove!!
