These are gems from the classical piano canon that have inspired me by their originality and purpose. This is a collection of classical character pieces from the tradition of notated classical piano music. Music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and early 20th Century time periods, specifically public domain, and recorded from 2001-2014. These tracks in this collection are pieces from classical piano from 1680-1910. Each track is an excursion in itself, a dive into a composers pond of ideas. Recorded exclusively on Yamaha Pianos. What a beautiful journey it has been in the discovery of these compositions, and of the process of learning, performing, and recording each one. Each piece is like a little world into itself.
