"Barrier Beach Blues" is the 12th official release from 2 time Billboard Music Award Winner, and IBC semi-finalist, MOTU (Dr Richard Michelson). It is a very unique LIVE 32 track digital recording of MOTU and special guests performing at the 3rd Annual Barrier Beach Blues Festival July 2nd, 2011. What makes this performance so unique is that unlike MOTU's normal ELECTRIC Band Shows, this performance is a Rare 'One Night Only' Acoustic Show. So instead of driving drums and electric instruments, this MOTU band consists of acoustic & slide guitar, banjo, violin, harmonica, and bass giving it a true American "Roots" Folk and Blues feel. The mix of MOTU's signature blues vocals along with Dee Chetta's sweet vocal harmonies take the listener on a journey that transcends traditional acoustic delta roots, folk, and jazz.

The CD has a line up of some outstanding Long Island-NY musicians; many of whom have performed with very well known artists such as Bo Diddley, James Cotton, Johnny Winter, and others. Their musical stylings in this recording stand out as individual artistic compliments to MOTU's original compositions as well as the traditional classics performed.

Here is the list of musicians performing on this new album in Alphabetical Order:

Dee Chetta: Vocals

Lora Kendall: Vocals, Violin

Ken "The Rocket" Korb: Harmonica

Mark Loebl: Bass

MOTU (Dr. R.Michelson): Vocals, Slide Dobro, Acoustic Guitar, Banjo

MOTU's CDs have received RAVE reviews, and multiple awards. Here are just a few:
