Description
King Crimson meets Jimi Hendrix and Béla Bartók in Afghanistan
Notes
Once upon a time, in an alternate dimension, the spirits of Jimi Hendrix, Jaco Pastorius and John Bonham were looking for some spiritual improvement in their boring afterlives among the angels; so, they scheduled a meeting to discuss about the new sounds they were hearing coming from the mortals.
The meeting occurred somewhere in the stratosphere right above Pakistan and Afghanistan, where they could easily hear and remember the great eastern music and sounds they all loved in the old days. Someone started talking about the exotic and beautiful eastern European music; someone, then, remembered the name of Béla Bartók and someone else made a connection with the progressive rock band King Crimson and other bands that like to experiment with new ideas.
Then someone talked about musical improvisation as a spiritual experience and how this is now so clear and easy in the afterlife.
And so they stopped talking and started jamming for a long, non-measurable time.
With help from the mystic teachings of the notorious Mme. Blavatsky, the Brazilian rock band Dialeto, captured some far emanations from this historic ultra-dimensional spiritual meeting and, as a result, recorded the CD entitled "Will Exist Forever".
Dialeto is an art-rock band formed in 1987 by:
Andrei Ivanovic - Fretless Bass
Miguel Angel - Drums and Backing Vocals
Nelson Coelho - Guitar, Vocals and Scratching Violins
