Notes
For those of you searching for the song Walking Next To You which was featured on Scrubs, this is the right place. Track eleven.
For the Lost and Found is ACRES' third and final album. It was originally released late 2005. Tim Acres wrote most of the tracks in about 7 weeks, spent two weeks rehearsing the new material with the band, and then went straight into the studio to record it. By this time the band consisted of only 3 of the core members of ACRES: Tim Acres, Dan Bauman, and Jen Lowe. Because of this, the band decided to track the record with a minimal amount of overdubs so that it would sound very similar to what an audience could expect to hear from the trio in a live setting. The album was recorded and mixed in Atlanta, GA by John Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band. The only guest appearances on the album are John Hopkins on backing vocals and Jimmy De Martini on violin. The album cover is a close up shot of a much larger pile of random objects gathered by the band. The rubber chicken on the cover can be heard on the hidden track Happy Happy Hamster after track twelve. The song is a parody of the basic human condition and was used in an animated music video on youtube called Happy Happy Hamster.
